2019 Season Kick Off!
WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR COACHES!!! We will kicking off our 2019 player registration soon! We will send out emails and post on Facebook as soon as registrations go live. We are in the process of rebranding HPYFA (Hamburg Pirates Youth Football Association) to PYA (Pirate Youth Athletics). Stay tuned!
 
Important 2019 Information

Important Info:

Thank you for registering your child for the HPYFA 2019 season!

We are excited for our new 2019 season to begin, it will be August before we know it! Please make sure that when registering that you have entered accurate emails for both parents or caregivers. All contact with be through these emails. You can log back into your account to update if needed.

HPYFA uses Team Connect App that can be installed on your iPhone or Android phone, it can also be accessed through tablets/ipads and laptops and desktop computers. You will be sent an invite to join your child's team, this is very important and why your emails must be correct. Please also check your spam folders. Please follow the directions of the email to get connected with the Team Connect App. This app will have games, practice info, rosters, parent contact info, coach contact info, photos etc. all in one easy place. It also has a message board for questions, important info, cancellations etc. You will want to use this!!

2019 Mandatory Kickoff Meeting!!!

In preparation for the season, we will be having a mandatory kickoff meeting for all football and cheer/pom participants. We have a date scheduled for Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Pinckney High School Auditorium at 6pm. Football players must be there to get fitted for jerseys and choose jersey numbers. We recommend your child come with 3 potential numbers they would like. Numbers are assigned by seniority and veteran status.

ALL MANDATORY WAIVERS MUST BE TURNED IN FOR YOUR PLAYER AT THE KICKOFF MEETING!

These items are required to be turned in at the kickoff meeting:

- All Waivers http://www.piratesfootball.com/player-waiver-forms
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Recent Report Card June 2019(print from MiStar)
- Physical for the 2019 season (Cannot be dated for last year)
- Deposit Checks for Equipment and Volunteering - Please write separate checks for each deposit, date them 9/1/19, and make them out to HPYFA

Volunteering Deposit $100 - per child:

Every family is required to volunteer 3 times per season. Sign-up sheets will be emailed out.


Equipment Deposit $100 - per child:
An equipment deposit needs to be made on the kick-off meeting day.

All deposit checks will be returned on equipment return day. Checks are not cashed if you meet your volunteering requirement and return your equipment in good shape. If those conditions are not met, your check(s) will be cashed and will be considered a donation to HPYFA.

2019 Season Important Dates:

Kick off meeting: Sunday, May 19 at 6pm in the Pinckney High School Auditorium

First Practices for Football and Cheer: Aug. 12 at Merrill field in Hamburg
First Games: Sept. 7
Cheerfest at Brighton High School: Oct. 27
Championship at Milford: Nov. 2
