Important Info & Announcements


Football Equipment Pickup is Sunday, August 2nd, beginning at 2 pm
Pickup times are as follows:
Instructional 2 PM
Freshman 2:30 PM
JV 3:15 PM

Cheer Equipment Pickup is Monday, August 3rd


All registration fees must be paid IN FULL by August 10th (first day of practice).

Due to current restrictions and situations, we will not have a proper kick-off meeting. Typically we would cover volunteering committments and documentation required for participation. That being said, ALL DOCUMENTS AND PAYMENTS DISCUSSED BELOW MUST BE COMPLETED FOR YOUR PLAYER TO RECEIVE EQUIPMENT. Your player cannot begin practicing until this criteria has been met. The following documents need to be printed, signed, dated, and turned in at equipment pickup:

- Code of Conduct Form
- Photo Release Form
- Covid-19 Waiver

Please also remember to bring copies of your child's birth certificate, last report card, physical (dated 2019 or newer), and separate checks made out to Pirate Youth Athletics for the following -

Volunteer Deposit - $100
Equipment/Uniform Deposit - $100

All deposit checks will be returned on equipment/uniform return day. Checks are not cashed if you meet your volunteering requirement and return your equipment/uniform in good shape. If those conditions are not met, your check(s) will be cashed and will be considered a donation to HPYFA/PYA.

Our league is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. Under the current situation and guidelines we are planning our season as scheduled. We will alert you to any changes.
If any season adjustments, including cancellation, are required, refunds will be made in full, minus processing fees.

Important Info:

HPYFA/PYA uses Team Connect App that can be installed on your iPhone or Android phone, it can also be accessed through tablets/ipads and laptops and desktop computers. You will be sent an invite to join your child's team, this is very important and why your emails must be correct. Please also check your spam folders. Please follow the directions of the email to get connected with the Team Connect App. This app will have games, practice info, rosters, parent contact info, coach contact info, photos etc. all in one easy place. It also has a message board for questions, important info, cancellations etc. You will want to use this!

Do not unsubscribe from Stack Sports emails or you will miss all vital team communications.

Games begin: 8/29/2020 (no games Labor Day weekend)

HPYFA/PYA night: 9/11/2020 at 5pm at Pirate Stadium

Last regular season/playoff games: 10/24/2020

Cheerfest: 10/25/2020 at Milford High School

Championship games: 10/31/2020

League Updates

The KVYFC (formerly LCAJFL), or KVC for short, is a youth football organization serving parts of Livingston and Oakland Counties. The KVC is intended to provide a safe, fun learning environment for the youth of our community. We strive to create an opportunity for kids to work together as a team toward common goals. We emphasize sportsmanship, teamwork and respect for authority figures (League Officials, Coaches and Game Officials), players and other spectators.
