Football Equipment Hand-out Dates:

July 23rd 6PM to 8PM Varsity and JV
July 24th 6PM to 8PM JV, Freshman and Instructional
July 27th 6PM to 8PM All levels

Football Camp Registration

HPYFA, in conjunction with the Pinckney High School Football Coaches and Players, will be hosting a Football Skills Camp on July 28th and July 29th. The camp will run from 6PM to 8PM and will feature former NFL Player and Motivational Speaker, Blaise Winter. All players registered by July 14th will receive a camp t-shirt. Outstanding Football Equipment Needs To Be Turned In ASAP

If you still have outstanding football equipment from the 2008 football season, we need it back ASAP. All of our helmets & shoulder pads are due to go out for reconditioning in January of 2009. We must have this done before equipment handout in July '09. Please contact one of the following
board members to return equipment.

2009 HPYFA Board Meeting Dates

Below you will find the 2008-09 HPYFA Board Meeting dates. All meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of every month unless noted. All meetings will be held at Navigator Cafeteria & will begin at 7:00pm. All meetings are subject to change Date, Time & Place. Please refer to this web page

Help Wanted!!!

If you love Hamburg Pirates Youth football then HPYFA board needs your help for the 2009 season. The past 4 years Saturday game day's have been run by no more than 6 or 7 people. We have a number of positions open for volunteers to supervise and work from sign up day all the way through week 9 late October of 2009. Please, if you do not volunteer your time, do not complain.

Donations Needed For Pirate Park:

HPYFA is looking for donations to help finish Pirate Park. If you know of somebody willing to donate time or material, please e-mail rsmithpeters@piratesfootball.com.

Still needs to be done for Pirate Park:

  • Fence around the field & around the perimeter.
  • Merchandise Pavilion
  • Bleachers for both sides
  • Scoreboard
  • Adding on to equipment shed for a concession stand and expanded storage space.
  • Lights for field.
  • Expanding new parking lot from 100 spaces to 300 spaces
  • Paving new parking lot.
